As part of its regular corporate social responsibility program, Procter & Gamble Philippines conducted a tree planting activity last October 14, 2017 at the Material Recovery Compound in Sitio Jordan, Brgy. San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, Batangas. In coordination with IGFI, a total of 800 seedlings were planted at the compound to be managed and maintained by the local government until all seedlings have fully grown.
To date, P&G employees have already planted a total of 2,400 trees in Sto. Tomas, Batangas and 3,000 trees in Cabuyao, Laguna. IGFI has been in partnership with P&G in this endeavor since 2013.
